S E L F L E S S C A R E: Week 3 of lockdown and my nails have left the chat...🥴 I whined a little but then realised if all I’ve got to worry about during this pandemic is beauty treatments and nail appointments then I’m on the better end of all the shit that’s going on. Grateful for health and laughter 🤍 #StaySafe #HappyNewWeek

S M O O T H O P E R A T O R: 3 weeks post my first laser hair removal treatment @birminghamprivateclinic and my legs are still smooth AF 🙌🏾 I haven’t needed even a quick trim since. ⁣My only regret is why didn’t I go this SOONER?! My first session dispelled a lot of misconceptions I’ve always had about laser treatments. ⁣⁣1. It can definitely be done on dark skin. ⁣2. You can still get your bikini area (full Hollywood 😜) done on your period as long as you are comfortable 🙌🏾👌🏾 ⁣⁣What a weight off my shower routine this has been especially as my regrowth is normally super quick. Have you ever had laser treatment? #ad #gifted #laserhairremoval

There’s always a lot of different products being inboxed, advertised and shown in tutorials. But what are you actually using through and through? These are products I use on the regular and would definitely repurchase because they’re all so good!👌🏾 More empties on my stories (this is limited to 10 unfortunately) and all links to products are on my blog (link in bio). Let me know if you want to see more content like this regularly. What are your empties?? I love to know what everyone’s loving 🥰😍😍 xx .#SelfCareSunday #SkincareEmpties #beautyempties

Wondering what to gift the little ones in your life? Try one of these “toy-free” gift ideas!

By Posted on 0 Comments 83 views

It’s not easy finding a gift for a little one. Even more so if they’re not yours! Children can be so fickle with their favourite TV characters, clothes are always perceived as boring and they probably have so much already, you have to avoid the faux pas or getting them something they might already have. So, what can you do?
Well, how about gifting them something that isn’t a plastic toy from a jazzy TV ad? Unsure of where to start? Don’t worry, check out these 6 toy-free gift ideas!

An investment
It doesn’t sound like much fun. But an investment in their future will certainly be appreciated further down the line! A monetary investment, or a savings account, a little nest egg or something that increases in value over time – click here to find out more about investments – will certainly be a welcomed gift when they turn 21 and they’re ready to start their life as an adult.

A one-on-one outing
They say that the greatest gift you can give a child is your time. So, why not set a special date for you and your little one to spend the whole day together? Let them choose the activity – like swimming, skating, cycling, bowling – whatever the like! And plan the day around their choices. They’ll feel like the centre of your world and love the attention.

New bath stuff
It’s not just for us adults! Kids love bath time, so why not make it more fun? You could spoil them with some funky coloured bath bombs to make their bath fizz and colourful or add a bath solution that turns their bath into jelly! Then treat them to some gorgeous shampoo and even a lovely new bath towel. Ooh, lovely!

A charity gift
Many children are eager to give to others and help where they can. So, why not create a gift for them that makes them feel like they’re helping others? You could adopt a donkey, or an endangered animal (they’ll probably receive updates about the animal’s progress) or even sponsor a child their age in a foreign country. They’ll love their very own pen pal and feel good for being able to help them.

Dressing up clothes
We all dressed up in mum and dads clothes when we were little. So, why not help them develop their imaginative play? Find a box or an old trunk and fill it with old clothes from your wardrobe. Shirts and blouses, skirts, hats, old shoes, accessories – if you’re struggling for old clothes then head to a local charity shop and see what you can find. You’ll be amazed at what you’ll get!

Books
The gift of reading is a wonderful thing. And many parents want their children to read more. So, why not encourage it? You could get them a book token to spend so they can choose their own or buy a series of books for them to enjoy over time. Even better, read with them!
