This post is super late! But better late than nothing at all right? While I was taking a break away from blogging, this happened. The fabulous GQ Men of the Year Awards went down in grand style. Let’s break down the noteworthy red carpet looks:
Kim Kardashian has been trying her hand at haute couture lately. For this particular event, she donned on an Atsuko Kudo black latex bustier-style bodysuit underneath a Ralph & Russo Fall 2014 Couture corseted skirt that featured intricate gunmetal crystal detailing. She accessorized her fit with her favourite embellishedTom Ford sandals and diamond bangles. Her hair and makeup squad tapped on sultry wavy hair and nude lips for the reality star. I’m just glad she’s not in a crop top so…hot! What’s your take?
Kanye is getting into that asset!
Rita Ora also played with metallic hues in a thigh high slit Zuhair Murad Couture reiteration. Good to know she looks this stunning without her signature red lip. The side braid added some edge to her look. Divine.
Bang Bang singer Jessie J looked sexy and sultry in an emerald green perfectly draped gown by Jean Paul Gaultier which she paired with black Saint Laurent sandals. The colour looks stunning on her. Yes Jessie J.
Supermodel Jourdan Dunn went all out in a cut out Zuhair Murad Couture gown. Zuhair Murad never goes wrong. This is hot.
Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger looked like the perfect red carpet couple. Nicoles’s Ermanno Scervino blush dress was fab.
Dougie Poynter and his girlfriend Ellie Goulding coordinated whites.
Brunette bombshell Daisy Lowe served curves in a low cut grey tweed jumpsuit by Barbara Casasola paired with red satin pumps. Hot!
Pippa Middleton was chic in a blush-coloured, paillette-embroidered silk top and matching chiffon skirt by BOSS. She paired her ensemble with metallic sandals.
Cara Delevigne was an edgy princess in a Burberry Prorsum lacy sheer gown. A mustard fur coat complemented her look. I can’t figure out what is going on in her mouth… I love al the pieces she’s wearing but just not together.
Lindsay Lohan threw on a Balmain Fall 2014 long-sleeved gown encrusted with diamantes creating zebra stripes and with a slash to the thigh. She looks good.
David Walliams and Lara Stone in a Chritopher Kane dress.
Natalie Dormer lit up the red carpet in a yellow sequin dress by Emilio Pucci.
Doctor Who actress Jenna Louise Coleman was in a £1,770 Saint Laurent gold sequin tweed frock. The shoe choice was not right but Jenna is always on point and looks cute as a button.
David Gandy…suddenly I can’t breathe…lawd!
Bad boy Gerard Butler served face in a classic suit.
Dapper papa Samuel L. Jackson can do no wrong in my eyes.
I’m not here for Pharrell Williams and his hat antics…
Benedict Cumberbatch was cute a button in a three piece suit. Love this actor.
Sheridan Smith was cute in a white tea dress and nude pumps.
Funny man John Bishop and Melanie Bishop. Love Melanie’s shoes.
Stay With Me singer Sam Smith worked the carpet looking sharp in a dark navy suit.
Iggy Pop and Nina Alu
Mackenzie Crook is one of my favourite comedians. I smiled when I saw him at the event.
There you have it?
