You must let the pain visit.⁣2. You must allow it teach you.⁣3. You must not allow it overstay.”⁣⁣— Ijeoma Umebinyuo, Questions for Ada⁣⁣Pain comes in different forms. Pain can be quiet. Pain can sneak up on you. Remember it’s okay to feel overwhelmed and also okay to log off and recuperate. ⁣⁣What’s happening is painful but it is NECESSARY. It’s allowed so many black people to express years and years of pent up pain, anger and frustration.⁣⁣But remember to allow yourself to heal ✊🏾🙏🏾 ⁣ #blacklivesstillmatter

This is just the beginning. We’re not going to dismantle in a week, racism that has been in-built for decades and it’s going to take more than posting black squares on the feed. Let’s keep calling out BS where we see it.
