So I missed the 2014 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards which took place in Lagos. I have not been able to get ahold of any official pictures yet but fortunately my Instagram feed never fails! Here are a few of the celebrity looks that have been covered. Who are your favourites? I see a lot of good ones! Let’s get into this:

Rita Dominic looked resplendent in Lanre Dasilva Ajani Couture. Gorgeous. Plus I’m glad she let the big hair take a break tonight and opted instead for a sleek side bun. Very chic.

Genevieve Nnaji was classy as per usual and featured a new ombre hairdo in a Jewel by Lisa dress.

It’s a few days late but I just had to post these pics from  the Actors Guild of Nigeria President Ibinabo Fiberesima’s star studded birthday party. The actress turned actors’ advocate invited friends and colleagues to the Chesney Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos and everyone honoured the invite. Rita Dominic, Chidi Mokeme, Uche Jombo, Desmond Elliot, 2Face Idibia, Ramsey Nouah, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Monalisa Chinda, Stephanie Linus, Mike Ezuruonye and many others were there to celebrate with Ibinabo.

I am in love with the prints some of these ladies are wearing. Everyone’s glowing. Wow. Even the cake is in print. Totesamaze! Get a peak at the massive fun they had below.

The movie Damage stars Uche Jumbo herself, Kalu Ikeagwu and Tonto Dikeh. This movie is unlike any other Nollywood production and is definitely a must-see. Strong themes in this movie include love and domestic violence. A production of the Uche Jumbo Studios, the movie is up to international standards and the hardworking producer, Uche, refuses to rest on her laurels until the movie has gained more press than the royal wedding! Uche and her cast have been going around the globe (seemingly) promoting the movie. already the movie has premiered in Lagos, New York, Minneapolis, Houston and London.
