Sizzling Sightings: Kim Kardashian, Victoria Beckham, Angela Simmons, Emeli Sande, Gabrielle Union and more.

Having a gracious week loves? Me too. I’ve been uber-busy, it’s not even funny. Like, I barely have enough time to stop and catch a breath. Funny, I live on a schedule but I can barely remember what day it is! I’ve realized that if I wait for that day when I’ll be completely free and relaxed so I can put up my blog posts. then I might never blog again. If you have a ‘busy schedule’ those things you love doing (or SHOULD be doing) should be a part of it. You love to write? Got a passion for painting? Need to be hitting the gym? Need to finish that project you’ve been putting on hold? Include them in your schedule. Life goes by pretty fast and before…Gosh I swear I did not have this inspirational, positive talk-type opening planned at all. It just spieled out.
Anyways, moving on to …

OOTD: Colour Me Yellow

Hiya fashion lovers, been putting off my blog posts for a while now. Way too many things going on. It’s been a busy few last weeks and I feel exhausted. Check my Instagram for more regular updates when I’m too lay to post:((  @msaidyl1.  But I’ve been so wanting to put up this OOTD that I just can’t wait any longer. Coloured suits have been trending like crazy lately. I love bright colours especially yellow so my look is inspired by Solange Knowles and Leigh Lezark who all effortlessly rocked the yellow suit.

*One thing you have to remember when going shopping for a coloured suit is you absolutely should not expect to find a pre-matched pair sitting in the shop and waiting for you. be more open-minded. Buy separates and match them. This option is usually cheaper as it …

OOTD: Handpicked

Hey dolls. I must apologize for the silence and absence of my OOTD posts thereof. I guess the last few days of the summer are taking a toll on me. I have been down with the flu and have not been able to compose a proper post. To add fuel to the fire, my laptop is still not working. I swear you never know how much your life rotates around that piece of equipment until it tires and shuts down (hope not for good in my case).  I have been through several stages since then. At first I was relaxed and sure that it was only a little hiatus. Then I got worried. And angry. After a couple of days I was panicking. I am finally calm and have accepted that sometimes in life, we are too caught up in something so much that the only way we can ‘snap …

Style Diary: T’wana S

We’re going exotic today with our Style Diary. Meet T’wana from the Caribbean.
My name is T’wana Skelton, I’m originally from a small Caribbean island called Tortola located in the British Virgin Islands but I live in Orlando, FL. Most of my free time is spent consuming anything fashion related.  This is why I started my blog.  I love attending fashion shows and events (big or small it really doesn’t matter).   My ultimate goal would be to one day attend Mercedes Benz Fashion week in NY and be able to write about it. When I’m not scouring the net and stocking up on fashion magazines, I’m cozying up with my Nook color to catch up on my reading.  I also love to write (my degree is in Journalism) and sing to the top of my lungs until my hun says I’m driving him crazy…. LOL.  Then …

OOTD: Ever Blazin’

Cheeky title, ain’t it?
But I just couldn’t help it. I’ve been on this quest for quite a while where I have been collecting all my wardrobe essentials in every possible colour. Now one of must have wardrobe essentials is a well-fitted blazer. You’d think it’d be easy to find these items. But I can be quite picky when it comes to buying stuff. The fit and colour are something that must be considered especially with blazers. So yes, even though it has been a struggle (but fun because shopping is therapy) I have successfully bagged myself about six now. A teal blazer, yellow, striped, green, blue and red. Is that six already? I had an orange one but lost it while I was moving. Urghhh. Here’s a pic of my blazer update on Instagram. It’s missing the red one which I hadn’t found by then.

OOTD: From Austria With Love

By Posted on 17 1.3K

I am beyond excited, elated, grateful, ecstatic…in fact I’m oozing positive energy. What triggered these happy feelings is first of all I’m rocking my new hair:) Now this is not only a new hair but it is also the first time I’ve had a Brazilian weave on. I was skeptical at first but  after I had it installed, I was pleased with the results. It was bought for me by one of the kindest people ever when she visited Vienna, Austria. Thank you!
This is a throwback kind of post so I won’t write much. So the throwback question is what do you make of my new look? Sound off your opinions please.
Also i’m working on this new column for my blog but i won’t announce what it is about yet. But it will be up preeeetty soon. Just subcribe and follow my blog so that you get a notification …

Piece of Art

art/ärt/Noun

1. The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.
2. Works produced by such skill and imagination.
As the old adage goes, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. I always say however that Art lies in the eyes of the beholder and it is art that holds beauty. Once you appreciate something, anything, as a work of art, you immediately see the beauty in it. Everyday we create a piece of art. art occurs everywhere. Even when we unconsciously put meals together there is something in us that seeks to match the beautiful browns of the toast to the creamy spread. The distressed denim that we throw on a few minutes later even without overthinking …
