Starting off this week is a strong Style Diary from the pretty haute and polished fashionista Leslie Eugene. Here’s what she had to dish on her style:
A little bio stats: My name is Leslie Eugene. Born and raised in Miami, FL. Currently reside in Delaware. Fashion Blogger for URPrettyHaute.com. Inspired by effortless fashion, obsessed with YouTube Makeup Tutorials and motivated by living a healthy lifestyle.
ABY: What are your dressing styles? What influences your style choices? I’m inspired by Stockholm Street Fashion and other fashionable bloggers. I like mixing prints and wearing whatever I feel most comfortable in. I change my looks so often but Zara, H&M and Urban Outfitters are stores that reflect on my style.
ABY: Which brands or designers ‘speak to you’ the most? With Fall being around the corner, I’ve noticed a lot of great items from Philip Lim. I can’t afford high end brands but thanks to the trendy designer and retail collaborations, I can rock out wear Phillip Lim and own a couple of handbags from their collaboration with Target.
ABY: Any beauty secrets? Favourite makeup and beauty products: MAC cosmetics, Makeup Forever, Smashbox and most recently added to the list is L’Oreal Foundation. Drink a lot of water, wear SPF, and exfoliate at least once per week.
ABY: What are your favorite trends currently? The layered look is one trend that I can’t wait to try once the weather breaks. It’s wearing two coats at once (i.e., A bomber jacket over a classic coat) I also have my eye on tartan this season, preferably in a biker jacket.
ABY: Your all time fashion icons are: Fashion Editor Miroslava Duma, Solange and Fashion Blogger Karla, from Karlascloset.com
ABY: Your favorite quote/saying: “The way to get started us to quit talking and begin doing”- Walt Disney
