Happy weekend people! Thanks for stopping by Style Diary. Today we’ll be checking out Nancy, a budding designer from Cameroon.

Let’s read what style secrets her diary holds for us.

Who is Nancy?  Who am I? thats interesting.In a nutshell, I am a fun-loving person, but also quiet. I hail from the N.W.R (North West Region)  i.e Bamenda but currently live in Yaounde.Im into designing actually, just starting out. For hobbies I love watching movies,listening to music,reading novels and oh acting [actually dreamed of being an actress since i was like 11].

How would you describe your style and what influences it? Well I could describe my style as edgy and out of the box cuz thats what I go for anytime I dress. My style choices are strongly influenced by Rihanna, by the way i love her. I also have ethnic influences like ankara designs (what im into), and street smart too.

All time favourite shops/clothing brands. My all time favourite shops are H&M cuz it’s easy to find in Cameroon, I also love Christian Louboutin shoes and dream of owning a pair one day(fingers crossed)! I love Vera Wang too she inspires me and oh our all time African favourites Tiffany Amber and David Tlale.

Your beauty secret is…Well lemme see…… Washing my face every night before I go to bed to try and maintain an acne free face.

Favourite make-up brand is… My favourite make-up brand is Mary Kay, come on who doesn’t love Mary Kay? And Mac too.

What is the most beautiful thing about you  and how do you accentuate it? Well, I must say the most beautiful thing about me is my lips. Yes I said it! And I love posing with it. Besides if you’ve got it flaunt it right?

Favourite music track would be…Apart from everything sung by my girl Riri, my fave music track would be Taylor Swift’s ‘Enchanted’.I may be African but i love me some country music yeah:)

If your life was a movie, what would be its title and who would play you? If my life was a movie I would love Genevieve Nnaji to play me, she is the best and lemme see the title would be “L’impossibe N’est Pas Camerounais” lmao! Nah im just kidding the titled would be set at the end of the movie but besides who could act me better than me so i would reprise my role.Lol.

Your house is in flames, what one item would you save out of your closet and why? Omg if my house was in flames I dunno I would save my shoes and blazers cuz I can’t definitely do without them.

Your all time fashion icon is…Like i said earlier I love Rihanna and she inspires me so she is definitely my style icon. Seriously she can’t go wrong with me even when she makes poor fashion choices :p

What is your advice to young people? My advice to young people is that if you set your mind to do anything,do it before its too late and do not forget to ask the almighty God to guide you through it all.  Remember ‘You can do all things through Christ who strenghtens you’. Phillipians 4:13.
