Red carpet Review: The 2015 Critics’ Choice Awards

The 2015 Critics’ Choice Awards went down in grand style with winners emerging in every form, shape and style. Let’s review the outfit choices from last night:

I can’t y’all! My fairy godmother came and slayed! Angelina Jolie is goddess. She looked flawless in a metallic wrap gown. Sensational.

Carmen Ejogo slayed in  a peach perferct Emilia Wickstead dress complete witha red pout. The right amount of cleavage and sultriness was on display here. Nailed it!

Jessica Chastain was sexy in a white beaded Antonio Berardi column dress.

Her bun was laid!

Marion Cotillard stole the show in a Dior Haute Couture statement white gown. Breathtaking.
Reese Witherspoon in Lanvin. Nice but not wowed.
Emily Blunt in Pucci. She never disappoints. Loved the sequin red dress.
David Oyelowo and his wife Jessica Oyelowo were the couple to beat. They looked gooood!
Jennifer Aniston took a risk in  a deep v button down red Gucci suit. It paid off.
Jamie Chung in a sheer Yanina Couture dress.
Liz Hernandez offered tailored sexiness in a black crop top and culottes paired with Gucci heels. I love this.
Genesis Rodriguez llooked pretty in a Reem Acra cut out dress with thigh high slits. Her hair game is strong!
British beauty, Rosamund Pike worked a white gown and minimal makeup. I wish there was a punch of colour somewhere (on the lips like Marion Cotillard) but she looks nice.

Julianne Moore came through in a black dress with a sheer neckline. Beautiful.

Leslie Mann in Reem Acra was one of my faves as well. Love the metallic strapless dress with strappy heels.

Michelle Monaghan in a black Elie Saab lace gown was a strong fave for me. Effortless.

Queen of boho chic, Keira Knightley looked pretty in a Delpozo gown. Much better than her Golden Globes dress at least.

Diane Kruger looked flawless in a Naeem Khan floral print strapless gown.

Amy Adams looked beautiful in Max Mara.

Andrea Riseborough in Escada loose-fit green suit. Hmmmmm.

Omar J Dorsey was dapper in a black suit.

I love me some red mane! Eddie Redmayne looked dapper as always in a suit and bow-tie. I’m here for awards season partly because of him 🙂

Common served effortless swag.

Who were your faves? Evetyone honestly looked good. Darn.

All are beautiful. Genesis Rodriguez especially caught my eye. Jennifer Aniston looks good, but kinda getting the feel that she’s trying to pull off her normal style that is becoming harder to pull off haha. Angelina is stunning as always, (love her) but kinda looking grandmother-ish so the fairy godmother name kinda fits 😀
    Great post Lydie

I think I don’t own an iron or steamer. If I do, I wonder how to use either. Where is my stylist?
Loved the Max Mara dress on Amy Adams
    Common looking dapper as usual.
