Summed up a few of my favourite looks from the Grammys 2020 red carpet showdown…
Cardi B flaunted her hourglass figure in Mugler and looked absolutely sensational.
Ariana Grande came to SLAY everything and everyone in her Giambattista Valli Haute Couture princess creation at the 62nd Grammy Awards. She came ready, poses and all. Dress? LIT. Pony? Sittin’. Face? BEAT. I was here for this moment. The fact that the princess dress was in grey and not pink make me love it even more. WERK Ms Grande.
Ariana Grande wore a second grey showstopping number on the evening created by Schiaparelli Haute Couture. Which look was your fave?
Jameela Jamil looked resplendent in Georges Chakra Couture. The colour of her dress is so flattering on her skin tone. She’s such an effortless beauty.
Jojo had a moment at the 62nd Grammys and it was well-deserved and long overdue! She showed up and showed out in a gunmetal strapless thigh-high split dress with silver embellished high heel mules. STUNNING. Her toned legs on show also reminded me not to miss leg day. Whew, chile.
Alicia Keys looked insanely gorgeous as hse hosted the Grammys in her Atelier Versace body-hugging rhinestone number. Her touching tribute performed with Boyz II Men to the legendary Kobe Bryant (who sadly passed away in a helicopter crash with 8 other people including his daughter Gianna) moved everyone to tears. What a moment. Her baby hairs laid to perfection were the perfect finishing touch to this look for me.
Billy Porter said, move aside girls. Let me sho y’all how it’s done. He never misses to deliver a memorable red carpet moment and this was one of them. His custom Baja East by Scott Studenberg ensemble was everything and then some. And by some I mean, functional. His fringed chandelier hat fully opened and close with bell-bottom trousers to match. I was astonished. Another spectacular win by Mr. Porter.
Lizzo served in a white Atelier Versace paired with a very luxurious mink fur stole thrown over her shoulder. Probably one of my favourite looks from Lizzo. Absolutely gorgeous and it gave me old, timeless Hollywood glam vibes. She’s so pretty, I can’t.
Dua Lipa brought the ’90s to the red carpet in a very minimalistic yet sexy slinky, two-piece slip dress. Her silk corset-and-maxi-skirt outfit was designed by none other than Alexander Wang. Loving the pop of blue on her eyes and the hair updo was bangin’.
