8th Annual ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon

Award season is just getting started and my fingers are tense with excitement to write about who wore what. The Oscars will take place on Sunday 22 February and after the show will be the numerous after parties. But before the show, there’s still a lot of partying going on. Lawd, do these people ever snooze? I hope not, their life my entertainment, eh. 😉 I love nothing more than a black women ball. The 8th Annual ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon went down a few hours ago. Let’s dig into the ‘fits of the evening:

The beautiful Tia Mowry suited up in a striped vintage tuxedo jumpsuit styled with Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and a Nancy Gonzalez clutch.

Tika Sumpter: This is a rare sombre offering from Tika but a very stylish one, dressed in Stella McCartney with lace pumps to complement the hemline.

New girl crush alert! Aja Naomi King looked flawless in a white pleated midi skirt.

Jurnee Smollett Bell was also feeling the white theme of the night and styled a simple belted skater dress with printed pumps and bright red lips. Pretty.
