UPDATED
The 2015 Oscars are finally here and I’m ready for slayage! It’s also our one year wedding anniversary so I’ve been drinking and I’m ready to brace staying up all night to blog about the Oscars. Let’s start the show!
Topping the best dressed list for me was Jennifer Lopez in a slamming nude dress. This woman!
YASSS! I stayed up for Emma Stone and she delivered. This lemon yellow dress and all its beading and embellishements gave me life. She gets me <3 I am also a fan of Jennifer Aniston’s sheer dress.
Oh la la, Lady Gaga. I actually like this. Couture glam is what she was serving and I ate it ALL.
I loved Solange Knowles red on red outfit. Red lips matched a caped and draped jumpsuit. Yass!
Rita Ora slayed for the gods in a navy strapless fishtail gown with a dramatic train. Get your life Rita! This is on fire. Love the embellishments and YASS to no red lip. That face is serving.
Lupita Nyongo’o loves Calvin Klein! She chose a beaded white number for her appearance on the 2015 Oscars red carpet. The immaculate hue of the cut out dress played off her ebony rich skin perfectly. Needless to say makeup was on fleek.
A yellow peplum dress and light makeup was on tap for Jennifer Hudson. She got it right this time. Pretty.
Another best dressed contender was Scarlett Johansson in a forest green gown and matching choker.
Kerry Washington got her life in this pale pink peplum top gown by Miu Miu. Her style hasn’t wowed me yet this year but she looks flawless.
Gone Girl actress Rosamund Pike swept me off my feet in her romantic red lace strapless gown by Givenchy. Wow. Winner.
Chrissy Teigen looked sharp in a baby blue embellished dress with a deep V neck and thigh high slit. Hot!
Zendaya Coleman KILLED everyone. I haven’t even looked at her dress yet. That hair and makeup alone. Chile, give yourself a high five. You nailed it! She is wearing a Vivienne Westwood satin white off shoulder gown.
Damn pregnancy did Zoe Saldana a whole lot of good! She looks amazing in that blush pink perfectly draped dress. A strong favourite. Yesss!
Hands down one of my favourite style moments from Reese Witherspoon. This dress is nothing and yet everything. The off the shoulder band and colum silhouette of the gown are nothing short of simple sophistication.
My sweetheart came through! Carmen Ejogo looked fabulous while channelling old Hollywood glam vibe in a Houghton white, sparkling sequin gown and Chopard choker. Loving the magenta-red lip.
Gwyneth Paltrow in a pink one shoulder floral applique gown won me over. She’s another contender for best dressed. So beautiful yet simple.
Love, love, love Oprah Winfrey’s dress!
Keira Knightley makes me want to pack up and move to the prairie becaus e she is giving me Little House on the Prairie fabulousity and I LAV it!
Fashion royalty Anna Wintour and her daughter Bee Shaffer also graced the Oscars carpet.
Margot Robbie is beautiful! She smouldered in popping red lips and a sultry sheer black maxi dress at the 2015 Oscars.
Viola Davis’ face was beat to perfection!
Damn Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie Hunter were such a hot couple on the carpet. Both look fantastic!
Kevin Hart and his fiancee Eniko Parrish are on the Oscars 2015 scene. Loving that coloumn nude dress on Eniko!
Naomi Watts’ Armani Prive gown was a solid win for the Birdman actress.
Sienna Miller is a fashionista on and off the carpet so she didn’t disappoint. Loved her see-through Oscar de la Renta gown with velvet bow tie detail. It’s an interesting gown and I am in love with it, She looks perf!

Anna Kendrick in Thakoon looked so pretty as a peach.
Cate Blanchett looked statuesque in a black velvet gown with a statement necklace.
Julianne Moore has been styling it like a pro lately. Love her Chanel dress for the 2015 Oscars.
Karolina Kurkova was a strong hit for me in a Marchesa gown.
My sweetheart Gina Rodriguez wowed in a blue gown and natural makeup.
Common was a smooth operator in a velvet blazer. Yess.
Brit actress Felicity Jones brought the drama in an Alexander Wang Dress.
Jessica Chastain served sultry goddess in a blue draped front seuin gown.
Chloe Moretz brought the drama in a floral print strapless gown. She looks pretty.
Anna Faris was a princess in a sparkly strapless gown.
50 Shades of Grey actress Dakota Johnson opted for a red dress with a one embellished strap. Love it.
Hottie Adam Levine and his wife, Namibian model Behati Prinsloo looked great together!
America Ferrera was such a beauty in a turquoise chiffon Jenny Packham gown.
Giuliana Rancic stunned in a hot red lace and tulle gown.
Catt Sadler donned a nude coloured embellished dress.
Kelly Osbourne looked radiant in a black lace gown. Yes!
Nicole Kidman’s iridescent sequin dress and a red band was a hmmm for me.
Louise Roe was beautiful in a Monique L’huillier blue printed gown with a split.
Keltie Knight looked pretty in an open back gown. Stunner.
Idris Elba and his daughter Isan Elba were simply adorable.
Eddie Murphy and his girlfriend Paige Butcher looked sweet together.
Georgina Chapman looked beautiful in Marchesa.

But your ensemble was nice. JLo lovely dress, but the deep v plunge cut = man hunting (som1 please get her a man). Eddie Murphy I see you got a type slim model. Idris (with your sexy voice) dapper as usual with your lucky daughter as your plus one.

February 23, 2015Love J-Lo’s eyes. It would have been easy to overdo that, but she kept it good. Lady Gaga, hmm. Nice dress, but well, nice dress. Rita Ora was made up for perfection; very nice. You’re right about Zoe as she’s twice as likely for me to say yes to a date now haha. Hey, I respect Kevin for not being ashamed at all to be out with a tall girl. And as always Lupita steals my heart; love her.
Everyone is lovely here actually
