2018 is starting off as a positively strong Year of the Woman. Actresses will be wearing all black to Golden Globes this year to protest gender inequality and sexual abuse. They will also be taking activists to the carpet with them. I’m all for this movement which is empowered by the #MeToo movement. Tarana Burke, the #MeToo founder, will accompany Michelle Williams on the red carpet. Fashion-wise, I’m very intrigued and looking forward to see how creative the celebrities get in styling their all black looks. Are you? Let’s get into them:
Tracee Ellis Ross
and her new lips turned up wearing Giambattista Valli Fall 2017 Couture.
Diane Kruger was one of my favourites in a Prada dress, Fred Leighton jewellery and Judith Leiber clutch.
Helen Mirren and Viola Davis
Tarana Burke and Michelle Williams
Alvina Stewart and actor Anthony Anderson
Kerry washing was stunning as usual but her boots were so out of place.
Denzel Washington and Pauletta Washington
Sterling K. Brown and wife Ryan Michelle Bathe
Actor Justin Hartley and Chrishell Stause
Millie Bobby Brown
Mary J blige
Reese Witherspoon and Eva Longoria
Salma Hayek and Ashley Judd
Meryl Streep and Ai-jen Poo
Amy Poehler and Saru Jayaraman
Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers
Janet Holden and Eric McCormack
Simone Alexandra Johnson
