I’ll soon be trading in the 9-5 life (for a few months at least) for the stay at home mummy duties. I’ve been thinking of ways to pass the time and make staying at home with my little bubba more fun and productive. I’ve decided to invest creatively into my blog as a whole and keep my other channels consistent. In other words keep my YouTube channel alive by introducing vlogs and creating new and exciting visual content.
Now I know vlogging won’t be an easy journey to embark on. We have given it a few tries and all we ended up doing was laughing the whole darn time…. Vlogging does require a lot of self-confidence, charisma and knowing your personality. It requires you to be yourself which is something I’ve been working on lately.
I’ve been feeling more confident and content in myself lately. One of the things that helped me open up even more was taking a personality test. A lot of people take them for granted but until you truly know what your strengths and weaknesses are, you cannot be the best version of yourself. The PersonalityMatch app is based on on the personality type theory by Isabel Briggs Myers and Carl Jung and it is completely fast, free and accurate. Not only is this test perfect for your relationships in terms of learning some surprising home truths about your partner (!) but it also helps you understand more about your personality and where to improve it.
After downloading the personality test and completing it, I found out my INJF (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging) was The Counsellor. That was news to me so I read further.
My top characteristics were:
- Passionate about ideas and dreams – So very true!
- Warm, caring and approachable – DUH.
- Tactful, helpful, sensitive and cautious. – Also spot on.
- Can read and understand other people. – Everyone would agree…
- Trusts gut feelings. – ALWAYS.
- Likes organising and creating systems. – You got that right too.
One thing I like about this app is that you get follow up emails on more ways to improve on your relationships and confidence.
Even better, you can share it with your friends or partner to see how their personalities and compatibility scores match yours!
Not only does this brand new app have the potential to transform relationships through an advanced personality-matching algorithm but as you can see from my feedback above it has the ability to improve your personality. The app is free to download and it reveals and analyses personality types and shows you easy ways to improve your relationships.
“The inspiration for this app came from my interest in personal growth,” explains Johan. “I discovered that, while there is a lot of information about personality types, there is much less on how these types can best interact.”
PersonalityMatch is available now in the App Store. A dedicated Android version is also available via Google Play.
In life, everything we interact with has a relationship with us. Be it our jobs, our hobbies, friends, partners or family. This app not only only helped my partner and I assess our compatibility (which was quite fun!) but it also helped me learn a lot more about myself.
Let us know if you take the tests and what you think of it 🙂
