and a silver sixpence in her shoe…
Well there was no silver sixpence in my shoe but I definitely had this rhyme in mind when I picked out the dress I was going to wear for my good friend, Iweusi Nyager’s wedding. I’ve been feeling floor-length maxi gowns with show-stopping slits lately. So this Lipsy number with its bandage top and low v-neck cut was calling my name is all kinds of languages. I just had to have it.
This Topshop Rosie tie up sandals are my favourite footwear at the moment. I’m going to Kim Kardashian the hell out of them!
Side note: ABY just hit 900,000 views over the weekend!! You don’t even know what I have in store for when this blog hits 1 million views. Let’s just say it’s gonna be one MASSIVE celebration. I’ve got so many exciting things in the works that I’m actually struggling to keep myself from spilling out out the gist prematurely. But please stay tuned and I’ll update you on what I’ve been working on. Any time now… 😉
Back to this wedding outfit. Did you like my ensemble? I love this shade of blue. It marries onto dark skin well. I also tried to use a hint of blue on my eyes. Even though it is barely visible 🙁 Damn, makeup application is tough. Thanks @BihYouty for the your tips and patience 🙂 I had the chance to snap a few quick shots before we headed off for the event.
