Having a chill Friday guys? I was super thrilled when Sheela Goh of Sheela Writes invited me to join February’s Sister Act Project. She’s strongly committed to the idea that style is ageless and collaborates with bloggers to see how they interpret and style themes across different age categories. February’s theme is “Sequins and Sneakers” and myself and four other fabulous bloggers gave it our best go!
I am not the tallest person in the room… 0_0 so I tend to stay away from flats, trainers and any footwear of the sort unless when I’m running errands. So this style project was definitely a challenge for me! I don’t have many trainers and the ones I have are very…noticeable. Yes, I adore garish and rather bright colours on trainers:)
These Nike Air Max Thea Pink Trainers were made for me.
I love them so much and to my surprise I actually enjoyed pairing trainers with an outfit! Thanks Sheela for helping discover a new side of me.
The sequin element of my outfit was this cute little sequin clutch I got as a gift. I did try on sequin leggings before I came up with the skirt…You don’t want to see that get up trust me.
How would you style Sequins & Sneakers?
