Just realised I’ve almost gone through the entire pregnancy without ever wearing trousers and I don’t plan on wearing them anytime soon…
I tried on a few pairs and I’m just not feeling them at all. I am not a fan of the way maternity jeans look with the massive elastic waist band. My tummy is also extremely sensitive and itchy right now and I can’t handle having to wear anything that touches it. I have like 20 stretchy midi dresses (and a few skirts) which I’ve had on rotation from day one. They’re starting to feel stretched to the max though so I might need to upgrade to a new set that will last me for the rest of the 3rd trimester. Also, I ain’t buying a pair of maternity trousers or jeans that will be of no use to me post-baby. I’ll stick to dresses.
Am I the only one who will be shunning trousers for their entire pregnancy? If you felt like this please share. What was your preferred go to maternity choice of clothing? Mine is definitely stretchy ribbed midi dresses. And maybe a few skirts but bit for too long though.
This skirt is the nude version of the white skirt I wore last week. That’s right, I found one skirt that wasn’t uncomfortable and bought it in several colours. LOL!
Okay my PC is acting up and it’s taking me way too long to even type out a a single sentence. So I’ll have to sign off here. Bless up to all!!!

August 19, 2016Hi Lydia congrats on your pregnancy. You look fab and that outfit is the bomb. I totally understand 100%. I just had a baby boy 2 months ago and I so get you. Jeans were a no go for me. Bought a few but just couldn’twear as they were too itchy and uncomfortable. I was on dresses throughout and maybe one or two skirts. We are lucky to have summer babies so dresses were my best friend. New look had some beautiful prego dresses, eBay and Amazon were great. Most of the dresses I am still wearing post partum as I am lucky to have lost all baby weight and tummy.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and keep looking fab.

August 19, 2016I don’t blame you! Dresses seem more freeing. Besides, you’ve been working those dresses like no other mom-to-be. Have a great weekend love! Xx
