The famous beauty pageant, Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2012 has been launched. It is worth mentioning that in 2002 the very lovely Miss Stephanie Okereke, who recently got married, was runner up in this competition. These are the 32 finalists, each representing their region. One of them will be crowned the Most Beautiful Girls in Nigeria 2012. Miss Sylvia Nduka was 2011 winner. What do you think of this year’s contenders. Who do you think deserves to bag that crown? Sound off!

May 1, 2012For me I think miss Niger and Miss Gombe got it. I Think Miss Delta is a little over aged for this contest ( she’s over 40).
The girls need to go easy on the weaves and make up( ayamatanga any one?. We wanna see ur real beauty not ur makeover, I mean it is a beauty contest afterall.) I believe If ur not confident enough to show and celebrate your natural fresh faced self then u have no business being a role model to our younger girls.
A little make up to accentuate ur natural features not create new ones.

I did not know that about Stephanie, she definitely deserved to be in such a competition.

May 2, 2012I have to agree with Moi Moi! I don’t mind the makeup so much especially if it’s well done. What woman doesn’t like to play with make up afterall but I’m seriously concerned with this need to wear weaves and wigs. They would look so much better without the fake, poorly done weaves but that is just my humble opinion. I certainly know the challenges of our hair. I also am not a huge supporter of beauty contests. We are all beautiful and what makes that beauty is what comes from the inside 🙂 There, done being a Debby Downer 🙂

September 11, 2012Everyone of them except maybe Borno, Abuja and Kaduna, need to come to me for eyebrow shaping lessons. And Miss Lagos just doesn’t represent. Are there no fine girls left in Nigeria?
