Lingerie Inspired Valentine Day Outfit Ideas + Giveaway!

Valentine’s Day for many is a celebration of love and of relationships, and for a slew of others it’s the perfect night to kick back their heels and relax with a glass of wine, a bowl of popcorn and binge watch shows on Netflix…This makes Valentine’s Day the unofficial date night of the year. Couples go the extra mile to dine at fancy restaurants and give in to a few treats on this special occasion. This obviously means that we’ll want to look and feel our best on Val’s day.
For many, Valentine’s is reminiscent of sexy lingerie and lots of bare skin. What would be cooler then than finding ways to incorporate that lingerie-look into your outfit? If you’re looking for tips on how to find the balance between rocking your sexy sheer intimates whilst still looking elegant, here are some top ideas.
1. Black Romance
Black may sound sombre but as the saying goes, when in doubt wear black. It works every single time. Layer a sexy lace top on your favourite black balcony bra. Black is perfect as it camouflages the fact that you are wearing a see-through top.

2. Soft Trimmings
I am a sucker for detail and lace detailing especially always skews romantic. Opt for pieces with extra lace trimmings, a touch of frill, a ribbon or two or just an extra helping of feathers for that feminine finish.

3. Slip Up
The slip sleeve made a comeback last year and is still going strong. I love camisoles and slips because they can be paired with anything. 4. Under Cover

One of my favourite sheer moments was Jessica Biel in that Dolce and Gabbana sheer LBD.
