S E L F L E S S C A R E: Week 3 of lockdown and my nails have left the chat...🥴 I whined a little but then realised if all I’ve got to worry about during this pandemic is beauty treatments and nail appointments then I’m on the better end of all the shit that’s going on. Grateful for health and laughter 🤍 #StaySafe #HappyNewWeek

My first session dispelled a lot of misconceptions I’ve always had about laser treatments. ⁣⁣1. It can definitely be done on dark skin. ⁣2. You can still get your bikini area (full Hollywood 😜) done on your period as long as you are comfortable 🙌🏾👌🏾 ⁣⁣What a weight off my shower routine this has been especially as my regrowth is normally super quick. Have you ever had laser treatment? #ad #gifted #laserhairremoval

There’s always a lot of different products being inboxed, advertised and shown in tutorials. But what are you actually using through and through? These are products I use on the regular and would definitely repurchase because they’re all so good!👌🏾 More empties on my stories (this is limited to 10 unfortunately) and all links to products are on my blog (link in bio). Let me know if you want to see more content like this regularly. What are your empties?? I love to know what everyone’s loving 🥰😍😍 xx .#SelfCareSunday #SkincareEmpties #beautyempties

Beauty: Good Hair!

Found these amazing pics of a gorgeous Good Hair model showcasing her natural  Peruvian weave and vowed to myself, ‘That is definitely going on my blog!’  Come to think of, I have never quite considered Peruvian hair. It’s almost always about Brazilian hair, isn’t it? Anyways, when I found these, I decided to do a little research on Peruvian hair and found out that:
1. It’s easier to blend a Peruvian natural hair weave with Afro hair (especially if you want to leave some of your hair out) because its toughness is close to that of the Afro hair than the Brazilian natural hair which is sometimes visibly finer than our natural hair.
2.It takes very well to dyeing and colouring.
3. Sexy curls are best achieved when curled with a curling wand instead of a curling tong. That is probably because the hair is thick and has a lot of body.
4.You can easily blend Brazilian and Peruvian hair and get an amazing final look.
Disclaimer: In the pictures is the beautiful Kika (a Good Hair representative) and not me 🙁
Also note that the original colour of Kika’s weave when she installed it was black. She only dyed it herself later on. Watch her rock  wavy styles to super curly and straight with her Peruvian hair.
wavy look

How amazing do these waves look? And the dye is absolutely to die for!

The same weave when straightened out.

super curly. how cute!
