I was not impressed with the overall looks at the BET Awards at all. As in did they all plan to look bad or mediocre? With the exception of a few looks, the looks were not great.
The 2014 BET Awards :
I love these American Award shows but they just don’t ever side with me on time. Why???!!! (Crying). It’s 2:30 am and I’m working tomorrow but I just CANNOT sleep knowing that the BET Awards 2014 is streaming now. Well, usually I would nod off on my keyboard but some of these outfits are so gooood they’re keeping me alert! Let’s go:
Tiwa Savage repped for Africa big time! I love this. The pink lips and the side fishtail braid uplifted her navy sheer number. Go Tiwa.
Nadia Buari is pretty but her dress, hair and shoes ALL stood out. I wish she’s kept the print dress and down played the other elements.
Sarkodie was also on hand to represent Africa. Looking yum there Sarko.
Mrs Nnamdi Asomugha is back! I loved Kerry Washington’s floral strapless skater dress.
Nicki Minaj accepted her award in a black shimmery dress. She kept it simple and cute. Nice.
Zendaya is young so she can play with fashion and have fun. I commend her risk taking here. She always looks great. But this was not my favourite. I would love to see this without the hat anyway.
Karreuche Tran is hosting this year so I was expecting her to do some major slayage. This fringe dress is good but not good enough. Her face is to die for as usual though.
Keke Palmer looked stunning in this mirrored print dress. The dress is quite risqué though. I’m sure it came with that hand-on-the-hip pose. Did you see her at the Pre-Awards party? I preferred her navy suit. This girl was representing for her ancestors. Yes!
Ashanti let her curves take centre-stage in this cut out white lace dress.
Eva Marcille kept it simple in this white maxi dress. I had hoped for more though.
Regina Hall let her statement necklace do all the talking.
Eniko Parrish was a fave of mine. She looked sexy in a lace mini dress and black sandals. Gorge. Boyfriend Kevin Hart looked dapper in a green suit.
Adrienne Bailon served in a white hot dress. Loved it!
Sevyn Streeter donned a beautiful yet risqué white maxi dress with chain detail. I am not a fan of these vagina slit dresses. One false move and your garden is exposed! Would you wear one? Her hair had to go though.
Pretty Gabrielle Union so missed the mark in this here thigh high boots in the middle of summer. I know she’s begging for ‘worst dressed’ with this.
Letoya Luckett’s new hair is not doing her any justice at all. Am not happy coz she’s my girl. Irgh!
Draya Michele in a black strapless dress.
Angela Simmons donned a black laser cut and leather mix dress.
Michelle Williams repped in a turquoise cut out dress.
Kenya Moore brought summer time to life in her orange dress. Fab.
Emily B looked bomb in yellow. Gorgeous.
Bria Murphy is a stunner. I loved her nude toned look. Pretty girl.
Her sister Shayne Murphy also looked great.
Laura Govan looked okay but that sloppy ponytail bun has to go. What is happening today? These girls normally slay ;(
Amber Rose looked fab in a maxi white dress.
Lil Mama’s orange dress is such a summer must have. Cute.
Tatyana Ali looked pretty but this pink halter dress is so not it. I’m not even going to lie.
Tamera Mowry looked gorgeuos but I thought her dress was a bit low key for the occasion?
Nate Parker and Gugu Mbatha Raw
Tameka Tiny Harris
Holly Robinson Peete was cute in a peach dress.
Raven Gibson was serving for the curvy divas. Loved the pop of orange.
Kyla Pratt was a miss for me.
Erica Hubbard opted for a black lace and sheer number.
Stephen Bishop looked casual smart. I love.
Terry Crews and Rebecca Crews
Omarion and girlfriend Apryl Jones
