OOTD: Strapped For Life.
Happy Monday fashion lovers! First off I’d like to say thanks a bunch to all the readers. You’re far too kind. I’m amazed at the feedback. Thank you very much. Every single comment or feedback in any form is appreciated by me. Thank you for giving me the drive to keep this blog alive.
How was the closing ceremony weekend for everyone? I don’t know about you, but the whole ceremony just made me feel a little homesick. I am one of those people who love it when there’s something on TV that the whole world is hyping about. I’ll just generally miss the hype. Well, now that it’s over I guess we can look forward to the Paralympics and for the more dedicated TV watchers amongst us, Celebrity Big Brother. Hahaha, can’t wait. I do love a good grind.
For my outfit of the day , I decided to take the phrase ‘Lady in Red’ literally and go wild with it. A good old bodycon skirt and one faithful red kneck-tie blouse did the trick. I paired it with this black ankle strap sandals which i got from Dune. Putting this outfit initially I was so excited about the idea of pairing red on red. But the moment I slipped these Dune babies on, I completely forgot about what I was wearing. I have never worn these ankle-strap sandals out since I bought them. And I regret it! They are easily the most comfortable pair of heels I own. usually I’ll pack a pair of flats in my bag just in case, but with these babies I tell you, I didn’t need to. They are super comfy. And look very nice on! Ankle-strap have been a hot trend this summer so I’m happy I fell on these. And for only £40 or so as well. I’ll add a link to where you can find them or a similar pair if they are out of stock.
