OOTD: Animal Instinct
So I have been putting off and postponing Outfit Of The Day (OOTD) posts for months now. What have been my reasons?
*I am not ready yet. I am still waiting for those pink Casadei pumps to go on sale. My outfit posts CANNOT start without them.
*I do not have a photographer. Who will be bothered to sit out and wait for me (a fussy dresser) while I decide what colour to paint my nails.
*What is a shoot without a location? I simply have to have a world wonder in the background of each single shot.
*England has the worst weather ever.
In fact if I exhaust the whole list of reasons, I’ll end up writing a completely different post than I’d originally intended. Best to crack on.
Reality check: You do not need a photographer to do an OOTD post. A tripod and self-timed camera will do just fine. All the shoes in the world could go on the sale and I would still have a reason not to post. The weather in England is notorious for ruining many a blogger’s picture sessions. The best answer to a storm is keep calm and carry on…fashionably.
I am so excited to be finally posting my outfits posts! I really was motivated by two bloggers from my Style Diary; Cynthia who is a fellow Cameroonian from Addicted to Etsy and Agatha from Irony of Ashi. Because of work constraints, I may not be chanced to post as many outfits as I would like to. But I’ll definitely put something up every week.
My brother turned 17 yesterday. I knew they were having an awesome time back home in Cameroon so I decided to go out and spoil myself in his honour.
I wore my very comfy zebra print jumpsuit, red pumps and green crossbody bag. I am a pointy shoes girl all the way. I will own pointy pumps in every colour. The higher the better.
*Outfit: Jumpsuit-H&M, Red patent heels-Schuh, Bag-Dorothy Perkins, Belt-Vintage, Chain link accesories-ASOS.
Warning: I talk a lot when I’m getting photographed. So get ready for a bout of weird faces!
Happy week folks!
Peace n Love 🙂
