So So Style

July 18, 2011
Solange Piaget Knowles proved that she wasn’t just ‘Beyonce’s younger sister’ when she took the the world by storm with her unique tunes and her album Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams in 2008  peaked at number nine in the US Billboard 200 chart. Solange, ever since has proven that she is not merely a force to be reckoned with but she is also one to make huge statements (fashion statements at that). Solange style can only be described as unique and artistic. She will wear trends that others fear to wear, and morph with each drastic hair change to another as if it was no man’s business. I am seriously inspired by her style and i was not the only one to take note of how such a style icon she is.  She is one of the faces of Rimmel London for their beauty campaign this fall 2011. From her flawless skin to her flaunted outfits, I’m loving every teeny bit of Solange’s tastes.  She blocks colours like no one does, she wears Afro-chic even better than I do (damn!) and she manages to bring runway to highway without looking like a masquerade exhibition.
